After growing in pond system, marine organisms are transferred to open cage system for large scale production. PT. Dinar Darum Lestari, has developed sea farming of giant clams, corals, fish, seaweed as mono and poly culture system.
Breeding and culture development of marine organisms
PT. Dinar Darum Lesatari has successfully breed and cultured ornamental marine organisms such as giant clam (Tridacda sp and Hippopus sp), coral, molusc (Trochus sp), abalone (Haliotis sp), fish (Amphiprion sp, milkfisk, grouper) and others (Hyppocampus sp, Heteroxenia sp, seaweed)
Giant Clams Breeding
So far, there are 7 (seven) species of giant clams has been breed and cultured. PT. Dinar Darum Lestari breed 20.000-30.000 clams per year.
40 genus of coral propagation has also been cultured via transplantation. It has facility to grow about 40,000 pieces of coral in open cages.
In the future, breeding and culture development will be extended to marine organisms useful for health food, feed and drug

Tembok Station is a 31.000 m2 hatchery facility for giant clam. The production capacity is 20.000-30.000 clams per year. In addition, culture corals is also established in this station.
Goris Station is for cultured corals mostly soft corals and SPS corals
Gilimanuk Station is a 1.500 m2 for culture corals, specially LPS corals
Makassar Station is for seahorse breeding since 2014 which take a place in Barang Lompo Island, we have also hatchery for giant clams.
Historically, the company started its activities as home industry selling fresh water ornamental fish for the local demand since 1970, on 1972, we extended the business including marine ornamental fish. The first export was done in 1974 to Germany. From 1978 till 1980, we provided service for aquarium Hotel maintenance in Bali.
After the company grew well, CV. DINAR was established in 1987. Since then, we exports ornamental fish to Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Germany, Poland, Australia, Canada, France, Belgium, and USA.
To sustain the business, CV. DINAR initiated research on mariculture development in 1997. We get permit from Ministry of Forestry, Republic of Indonesia (No. 509/KPTS-VI/1997) to develop giant clams breeding. Since then, It caries out research and culture development of marine organisms including T. squamosa; T. gigas; T. derasa; T. maxima; T. crocea; Hippopus porcelanus, Trochus niloticus.
In 1998, the company started coral propagation. Recently, in 2000, breeding of marine organisms was extended to abalone (Haliotis) and Amphiprion.
In line with the development of business in 2009, the Company increased the status of the business became a Limited Liability Company. The increase was approved status business entity Deed I Gusti Putu Anom Kerti, SH. 06, Date 13 April 2009, so the company name into PT. Dinar Darum Lestari
